London Central Tower Bridge Travelodge Reviews
Myself and my boyfriend visited the travelodge from Monday - Wednesday in April and were exceptionally pleased with the service.
The hotel and rooms:
Before booking I found a 20% off voucher online (worth searching around for) and for the 2 nights we were exceptionally pleased with the price. The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, everything you need for a short break in London. We chose not to eat breakfast in the hotel. If you want a full English there is a Wetherspoons just over the road.
The staff:
The staff made this hotel. Upon arrival they were polite and attentive. We asked if they knew of anywhere we could print some tickets for an excursion, they immediately offered to do this for us giving us an email address to forward our tickets to. Each morning they greeted us with a smile and couldn't do enough. We had to check out by 10am but wanted some more time to wonder around, the hotel were more than happy to look after our luggage.
The location:
Aldgate station is a few minutes walk and has great transport links. (The circle and metropolitan line take you to many of the main attractions). Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are just around the corner. We were blessed with a sunny day and took a walk across and on to the river. For the price of this hotel we were overly pleased with the location. If you get chance Whitechapel is a short walk and a Jack the Ripper tour is a great way to explore the East End.
