The role of a Sales Consultant is key to the success of our business, aimed at driving sales, developing business and building relationships in a highly target driven environment. Your responsibilities as a Sales Consultant will include:

• The role is aconsultative sales role, you will be expected to work towards realistic but challenging individual and gallery sales targets, and build a loyal client base.
• You will be the main point of contact for our customers, responding to interest in the Gallery and identifying opportunities to develop further business through use of the client database and local business links.
• You will provide a personal and unique service to our clients, making sure they feel special.
• The implementation of effective marketing and promotional activity will be the key as you'll be required to organise and support with various events, exhibitions and promotions.
• A detailed knowledge of art is not required as full training is provided.

Skills and Experience

• We look for confident, stylish sales people who are passionate about our products and delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
• You'll need to be highly target driven and motivated by commissionable sales, with a proven track record of sales success
• Personality is central to making a success of this role and we specifically look for people who are outgoing and animated.
• Experience of developing successful and long-term relationships with sales clients is highly desirable.
• You will ideally come from a Luxury Retail Sales background.
• A driving license is also highly desirable as you may be required to undertake home consultation visits with clients.
• We offer very flexible working hours and fantastic commission structure on the top of your basic salary!

Art Sales Consultant

We have a great opportunity for an Art Sales Consultant in Cambridge. We are looking for a target driven sales professional with exceptional customer service and communication skills to join this established Gallery located in the bustling Grand Arcade shopping centre.

The Role

• The role is a consultative sales role, you will be expected to work towards realistic but challenging individual and gallery sales targets, and build a loyal client base.

• You'll need to be highly target driven and motivated by commissionable sales, with a proven track record of sales success.
• Personality is central to making a success of this role and we specifically look for people who are outgoing, animated and can hold an articulate conversation.
• We offer very flexible working hours, rota’s are on a shift basis, however we will require you to work 5 out of 7 weekends.

Facilities Assistant

Washington Green & Castle Galleries are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join our brilliant company.

As a Facilities Assistant you will be taking responsibility for the maintenance of our offices, warehouse and multiple high street galleries across the UK. The role is very hands on and in many cases you will be the first port of call for any maintenance issues, attempting to fix or solve them on your own initiative and experience prior to any outside involvement. Therefore, the role requires an individual who has a “jack-of-all-trades” approach.

Your responsibilities will cover a range of activities including supporting the facilities team across a number of sites within UK, cleaning, catering, security, utilities and space management, development of property strategy and administration. You will be required to keep a focus on best service quality.

Key Skills

• To be successful in this position you need to have experience in a similar role, ideally in the construction, building services or retail industry.
• Previous experience of working in a trade role such as a builder, carpenter or electrician is also highly desirable.
• We are looking for someone who is committed to high quality standards and good attention to detail.
• Flexibility, a 'can do’ attitude and great team skills are also required.
• You’ll possess the ability to juggle multiple and often conflicting priorities, taking control of situations and resolving them with minimal disruption to the business operations.
• An ability to work methodically and cope well when working under pressure is a must.
• You’ll need to be numerate and have a good working knowledge of basic IT
• A flexible approach to work is necessary as is a full driving license and willingness to travel, since you will be working at multiple sites across the UK.
